General Features
Thermotar commercial Through-the-Wall condensing units are designed for direct expansion (DX) systems. They are ideal for commercial and industrial applications that require a compact, reliable, and efficient solution for heat rejection.
Their configuration allows the unit to be installed adjacent to a wall, with condenser air discharged directly outdoors through the wall.
This design also facilitates equipment integration in projects with limited space or special architectural requirements, reducing the need to install conventional condensing units in exterior areas.
Available from 7.5 to 60 tons, these units can be configured with 1 to 4 independent refrigeration circuits. Selection depends on the required capacity and specific project requirements.
Cabinet Features
The cabinet is manufactured from pre-painted galvanized steel, providing high mechanical strength, durability, and corrosion protection.
Its construction also facilitates access to internal components for inspection and service. The unit can be adapted to different installation conditions and specific project requirements.
Condensing System
The units incorporate horizontal-discharge axial fans, which move condenser air directly outdoors through the wall.
The number and configuration of the fans depend on unit capacity. Ambient temperature, design conditions, and installation requirements are also considered during selection.
Compressors
The condensing units are available with Scroll compressors, selected according to the unit capacity and specified refrigerant.
Depending on capacity, the unit may incorporate one or multiple compressors and can also be configured with multiple independent refrigeration circuits.
This provides greater design flexibility and improved capacity control.
Condenser Coil
Thermocoil® condenser coils are manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum fins, providing efficient heat transfer and reliable operation.
Optional copper/copper configurations are also available. Anti-corrosion coatings can also be incorporated for harsh environments or coastal applications.
Available Refrigerants
The condensing units can be configured for R-410A, R-32, R-454B, and R-290.
