Thermotar commercial vertical condensing units are designed for direct expansion (DX) systems and commercial and industrial applications that require high capacity, reliability, and efficient heat rejection.
Their vertical configuration helps optimize installation space and directs condenser air discharge upward, making them well suited for projects with limited lateral clearance or specific placement requirements.
Available from 7.5 to 60 tons, with 1 to 4 independent refrigeration circuits, depending on unit capacity and project requirements.
Cabinet Features
The cabinet is manufactured from pre-painted galvanized steel, designed to provide high mechanical strength and corrosion protection.
Its construction facilitates access to internal components for inspection and service and can be adapted to different installation conditions and project requirements.
Condensing System
Equipped with vertical-discharge axial fans, selected to provide the required airflow through the condenser coil and ensure proper heat rejection.
Fan configuration is determined according to unit capacity, design conditions, and operating ambient temperature.
Compressors
Available with Scroll compressors, selected according to the required capacity and specified refrigerant.
Depending on unit capacity, the condensing unit can be configured with one or multiple compressors and independent refrigeration circuits, providing greater flexibility and improved capacity control.
Condenser Coil
Thermocoil® condenser coils are manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum fins, designed to provide efficient heat transfer and reliable performance.
Optional copper/copper configurations and anti-corrosion coatings are available for applications in highly corrosive environments or coastal areas.
Available Refrigerants
Configurations are available for R-410A, R-32, R-454B, and R-290, depending on unit capacity and the technical and regulatory requirements of each project.
