General Features
Thermotar Commercial Vertical Chilled Water Air Handlers are designed for chilled water systems and commercial and industrial HVAC applications.
These units provide high capacity, installation flexibility, and reliable airflow control. Their vertical configuration also helps optimize the available installation space.
Each unit can be adapted to different airflow, static pressure, and thermal capacity requirements. Ventilation systems are available with direct drive, belt drive, or Plug Fan technology.
This allows the most suitable configuration to be selected according to the specific operating conditions of each project.
Cabinet Features
The cabinet is manufactured from pre-painted galvanized steel, providing mechanical strength and corrosion protection.
Its construction also facilitates access to the main internal components, simplifying inspection, cleaning, and service.
The cabinet configuration can also be adapted to the specific installation requirements of each project.
Ventilation System
The ventilation system can incorporate direct drive, belt drive, or Plug Fan technology.
Each option allows the unit to be adapted to the required airflow and static pressure. Thermotar also selects the ventilation components according to the operating conditions of each project.
This allows the system to provide efficient and reliable performance for each application.
Chilled Water Coil
Thermocoil® coils are manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum fins, providing efficient heat transfer between the chilled water and the air.
Each coil is selected according to the project design conditions, including entering and leaving water temperatures and water flow rate.
Air temperature and humidity, required capacity, and pressure drop are also considered during the selection process.
Different row, circuit, and dimensional configurations are available, allowing the coil to be adapted to the specific requirements of each chilled water system.
Available Configurations
The air handlers can be adapted to different chilled water systems and operating conditions.
Cooling-only configurations are available, and additional heating coils can also be incorporated when required by the project.
Each Commercial Vertical Chilled Water Air Handler is selected according to the required airflow, static pressure, and thermal capacity. Water temperatures and the psychrometric conditions of the project are also considered during the selection process.
