General Features

Thermotar commercial horizontal air handlers are designed for direct expansion (DX) systems and high-capacity commercial applications. They provide flexibility and reliable airflow control.

Their horizontal configuration is ideal for installations with limited ceiling height. It also facilitates integration into mechanical rooms, mezzanines, and other spaces with vertical clearance restrictions.

Available from 7.5 to 60 tons, these units can incorporate 1 to 4 refrigeration circuits. They are also available with direct drive, belt drive, or Plug Fan configurations according to the specific requirements of each project.

Cabinet Features

The cabinet is manufactured from pre-painted galvanized steel, providing mechanical strength, durability, and corrosion protection.

The horizontal configuration also facilitates access to internal components, simplifying inspection and service procedures.

Ventilation System

The ventilation system can be configured with direct drive, belt drive, or Plug Fan technology.

This allows the appropriate option to be selected according to the required airflow and static pressure, enabling the unit to adapt to the specific conditions of each application.

Direct Expansion Coil

The units incorporate Thermocoil® coils manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum fins, designed to provide efficient heat transfer.

They can also be configured with 1 to 4 independent refrigeration circuits, depending on the selected capacity and project requirements.

Available Refrigerants

The air handlers can be configured for R-410A, R-32, R-454B, and R-290.

This allows the refrigerant to be selected according to the technical and regulatory requirements of each project.
