General Features
Thermotar residential vertical condensing units are designed for direct expansion (DX) systems and residential applications that require a compact, reliable, and efficient air-conditioning solution. Their vertical configuration helps optimize available space and directs air discharge upward, making installation easier in homes, apartments, and other applications where lateral space may be limited. Available from 1.5 to 5 tons, with different electrical and refrigeration configurations according to the requirements of each application.
Cabinet Features
Cabinet constructed from pre-painted galvanized steel, designed to provide mechanical strength, durability, and corrosion protection. Its construction facilitates access to internal components for inspection and service while maintaining a compact design suitable for residential applications.
Condensing System
Equipped with a vertical-discharge axial fan, selected to provide the required airflow through the condenser coil and ensure proper heat dissipation. The ventilation system is designed to provide reliable and efficient operation according to the unit capacity and operating conditions.
Compressor
Equipped with a Scroll compressor, selected according to the unit capacity and specified refrigerant. Its configuration is designed to provide reliable, stable operation suitable for the demands of residential air-conditioning systems.
Condenser Coil
Thermocoil® coils manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum fins, designed to provide efficient heat transfer and reliable performance. Optional copper/copper configurations and anti-corrosion coatings are available for applications located in corrosive environments or coastal areas.
Available Refrigerants
Configurations are available for R-410A, R-32, R-454B, and R-290, depending on unit capacity and the technical, safety, and regulatory requirements of each application.
